- This online "village" for parents features chat rooms and message boards but also offers a lengthy list of links under "resources."

- Provides a network to share ideas and provide support; has conventions in Northern and Southern California.

- This website might be the best place to start - with legal information, an easy way to purchase books and magazines, and links to good web sites. This group puts on the California Home Education Conference each year.

- The Big6 is a widely-known and -used approach to teaching information and technology skills in the world. Used in thousands of K-12 schools, higher education institutions, and corporate and adult training programs, the Big6 information problem-solving process is applicable whenever people need and use information.

- ERIC Database
- This link leads to the ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) database. ERIC includes a large collection of lesson plans and an index to education literature.

- From the famous San Francisco science museum, with many activities to use in the classroom or at home.
