Dining for Dollars - Three Cities, Four Restaurants, Every Wednesday in August - Dine for Dollars and support Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library

Dining for Dollars, a fundraiser for the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library offers the public a way to give to the library while enjoying a deliciously good time out.  On Wednesdays during the month of August area residents are encouraged to enjoy a day or night out at a local restaurant to not only fill their tummies with a tasty meal, but to also help raise money for the Library.

Participants in the fundraiser must present an official voucher from the Dining for Dollars flyer.  The flyer can be found on the Library website for easy printing, at any of the SSJCPL branch libraries throughout Stockton and San Joaquin County, at the Friends of the Stockton Public Library bookstore, and at the Arnold Rue and Stribley Community Centers.

Contributions ranging from 10 to 20% of sales from specified restaurants on specified dates will be used to help fund projects for the Library as agreed upon by the Friends of the Stockton, Tracy, and Manteca Library groups.

The Friends of the Stockton, Manteca, and Tracy Library groups as well as SSJCPL are grateful that local restaurants are involved in supporting their communities.  Not only will this benefit the Library, but also our local economy!  For more information about this fundraiser, contact Heather Mompean, SSJCPL Marketing Officer, at (209) 937-7452.

Wednesday, August 4th
The fundraiser kicks off at Applebee’s in Stockton, Manteca, and Tracy.  From 11am to 12am present your voucher for dine-in or to-go orders to have 15 – 20% (depending on restaurant location) of your food order donated back to the Library.

Participating Applebee’s locations:
Stockton - 2659 W. March Lane*
Manteca - 1272 E. Yosemite Avenue*
Tracy - 3060 Naglee Road*

Wednesday, August 11th
The fundraiser continues at Papa Murphy’s in Stockton, Manteca, and Tracy at the below locations.  Present your voucher for your food orders to have 15 – 20% (depending on restaurant location) of your food order donated back to the Library.

Stockton - 4663 Pacific Avenue*
Manteca - 552 N. Main Street*
Tracy - 1892 w. 11th Street*

Wednesday, August 18th
Visit Chili’s in Stockton, Manteca, and Tracy for a Give Back Night at the below locations.  From 11am – 11pm present your voucher for dine-in or to-go orders to have 10% of your food order donated back to the Library.

Manteca - 2262 Daniels Street*
Tracy - 2030 W. Grant Line Road*

Wednesday, August 25th
Top of the month long fundraiser with a tasty cool dessert at any of the three below listed Baskin Robbins addresses in Stockton.  Present your voucher to the cashier to have 20% of your food order donated back to the Library.
