LATHROP BRANCH LIBRARY CLOSED FOR REPAIRS
Dates Closed: July 27 - August 9, 2009
Library will re-open August 10, 2009

The Lathrop Branch Library, a branch of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library system, will be closed from July 27 through August 9 and will re-open to the public on August 10.  Due to water damage that occurred earlier this year, the carpet and lower wall sections of the library facility need to be replaced.  The City of Stockton and the City of Lathrop are working together with the landlord of the property to have the repairs made as quickly as possible.

The Deputy Director of the Library, Ken Yamashita, commented on the project by saying, “We are sorry for the inconvenience this causes our customers and are working diligently to have the facility repaired and re-opened in the least amount of time possible.  Our goal is to have customers back in the library to check out books and tend to their love of reading.” 

Lathrop Branch Library customers are encouraged to visit other local branches such as the Manteca Branch Library located at 320 W. Center Street, Tracy Branch Library located at 20 E.
