Every branch is eagerly scheduling exciting programs for their communities.  There is much to enjoy at the Library such as the All About Baby programs, author visits, book discussions, and many other programs geared to encourage a love of reading.  The Library is the place to be whether the goal is to learn or to relax.

"We are doing everything we can to continue operating within our communities and providing children, teen and adults a place to foster their love of reading,” said Director of Community Services, Pamela Sloan.  “We encourage community members to visit their public libraries.  Come see what we have to offer.  Our incredibly knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you with finding the books and programs that will quench your thirst for knowledge and entertainment.”

The Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library, part of the Community Services Department, serves residents throughout six cities and the unincorporated areas of San Joaquin County. For more information call toll free in San Joaquin (800) 805-7323 or if calling from within Stockton dial 937-8221.  Visit us online at www.stockton.lib.ca.us.  Check out our new online event calendar when visiting our website!
