Also note: The State Board of Equalization closed its Stockton office on February 28, 2005. New tax rates took effect April 1, 2005. [PDFs] Books and videos that cover the general topic can be found under taxation in the Library catalog. More specifically, income tax may lead you to books more to the point. Even more specific, those looking for ways to save in taxes may want to read about tax planning. There are also magazine articles on the topic which may be searched under the same headings.
