City of Stockton Libraries
At the Fair Oaks Branch Library located at 2370 E. Main St., in Stockton, there is a small on-going book sale.
None of the other Stockton libraries sell books. They refer customers to the Stockton Friends of the Library storefront.
San Joaquin County Libraries
Friends of the Library organizations around San Joaquin County operate used book sales. Types and selections of items for sale vary from branch to branch but may include hardcover and paperback books, audiocassettes, videos, and magazines. Sales run during branch open hours. This is the case for Escalon, Linden, Manteca, Ripon, and Tracy. There may also be the occasional special event sale.
