Hasting Law Library Databases: Includes California Ballot Propositions, California Ballot Initiatives, California Hearings and Reports, and California Supreme Court Records & Briefs Index. All are searchable databases. The California Ballot Propositions database contains the full text of the propositions from 1911 to the present , accompanying material contained in the ballot pamphlets, related legal and legislative history, and digital images of the ballot pamphlets. The Ballot Initiative database is a comprehensive, searchable source of information on California ballot initiatives from 1911 to the present. The database contains the full text of the initiatives, accompanying material relating to their filing and qualification, related legal and legislative history, and digital images of pertinent documents.

California Voter Information: California voter information and election results from the California Secretary of State. Statewide election results are posted here as they are tallied.

Easy Voter: Easy Voter and the Easy Reading Voter Guide are based on the simple premise that all Californians should have access to user-friendly non-partisan information to help them get involved in our democratic process.

League of Women Voters - California: The League presents unbiased nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process, and issues. The League does not support or oppose candidates or political parties.

Project Vote Smart: A very well-organized, up to date site covering all things electoral. One very neat feature is that it allows you to type in your zip code to find out who your representatives are and who are their contenders.

San Joaquin County...Elections/Voter Registration Office: This is the site for San Joaquin County voter information. One nice feature is that you can find your polling place by looking by your zip code then by your street address. Also, find results for San Joaquin County.

Smart Voter: Smart Voter is produced by the League of Women Voters of California to: Provide voters with comprehensive nonpartisan information about the contests on their ballot in an easy-to-use presentation. Provide a means for candidates to publish information about themselves and their candidacy directly to voters. Designed to help voters understand their choices better including local contests, Smart Voter offers extensive background information on candidates in participating counties as well as information on state and local ballot measures.

Ballot Propositions: This page, compiled by a Stockton librarian, provides an index to California Ballot Propositions from 1978 to 1998. You can scroll through the listings for each election, or you can use the "Find" button on your browser to jump to a numbered proposition (i.e. 209) or use a keyword (i.e. marijuana) to quickly figure out when a proposition was voted upon.
