www.sjgov.org - This site can connect you to all of the departments of the San Joaquin County government. You can search by the service or by the name of the department. It also includes a phone directory and an overview of the county for new visitors and potential new businesses. Some Departments or areas of interest include: Board of Supervisors, Business Services, Fictitious Business Name, Human Resources, Human Services Agency, Marriage Licenses, Registrar of Voters, and Vital Records.

- Haggin Museum
- The Haggin Museum, San Joaquin County's only art and history museum, has been referred to by SUNSET Magazine as " ...one of the undersung gems of California." Its art galleries feature some of the finest examples of works by such noted 19th-century painters as Albert Bierstadt, Rosa Bonheur, and William-Adolphe Bouguereau, as well as many other American and European artists. Its history displays focus upon this area's past and the accomplishments of its residents, such as Charles Weber--Stockton's founder; Benjamin Holt--inventor of the Caterpillar track-type tractor; and Tillie Lewis--the "Tomato Queen."

- San Joaquin Genealogical Society
- The San Joaquin Genealogical Society is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization founded in 1952. Their purpose is to promote general interest in genealogy and history by individual and group cooperation and to cooperate with other similar organizations. They encourage the research and writing of genealogical books, papers, and lectures on subjects of genealogical interest through monthly meetings, workshops, seminars, lectures and field trips.

From this opening page, you just select the level you want: State, County, School District, or individual School. For example, to check on a specific school, click on School Profiles. Then at the next screen, specify county (San Joaquin), district (Lodi Unified) and School (Davis Elementary). Then in the box to the right specify either STAR test results or School profile and you will receive detailed information about that school.

www.valleyair.org - San Joaquin County is part of the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District. The district is "committed to improving the health and quality of life for all Valley residents through effective and cooperative air quality programs." Among their voluntary programs are Spare the Air, Wood Burning, and Smoking Vehicle. The web site offers daily air quality status and forecasts as well as tips about how to burn wood cleanly and when wood burning is prohibited.
