This site, provided by Yahoo, allows you to look up stock prices for companies on the NYSE back to 1962. You need to type in the ticker symbol and the date(s) desired. If you don't know it and want to find a ticker symbol, you can either go to Yahoo! Finance - Ticker Symbol Lookup or to Hoover's Online.
